What to expect:

Our session will take place on-location, somewhere very special that we will choose together. I will use positive reinforcement practices with your pet to overcome nervousness or high-energy so I can capture their very best traits: the starry gaze in their eyes as you pull out a treat, the goofy way they let their tongues hangout, or the way those clumsy puppy paws seem to be all wheels and no brakes! I like to tell the story of you and your pet. I like to show the bond, the quirks, and the goofy expressions only you can coax out of them. Most likely your dog doesn't pose stoically on a softly-lit couch all day, so your pet's photos should reflect the character you love most about them! After all, these are the memories you'll want to keep close for years to come.

A Typical shoot usually lasts 1 hour. We will meet at our location of choice and take a short walk around the area to find the best places to shoot, whether it be the stoop of a brownstone, a sculpture in the park, an NYC skyline backdrop, or your favorite little cobble stone street in the city. This both allows me to get to know you and your pet, and find the best lit locations for the time of day that we are shooting.

Plan ahead to book a photoshoot! I accept a limited number of commissions each month to ensure I can devote my time and energy to planning sessions and creating artwork as unique as your pets! When possible special exceptions will be made for end of life sessions.
